Created this warm and cozy slat wall using 1/2" wooden oak slats from Lowe’s, adding texture and depth to the space. To achieve a smooth finish, each slat was cut according to the wall height and sanded using a Ryobi sander machine, ensuring a refined and polished look. The natural wood tones bring warmth to the room, making it feel both modern and serene. This DIY project was a perfect way to introduce a stylish and cozy aesthetic.

Materials Used:

• 1/2" Oak Slats (from Lowe’s)

• Ryobi Sander Machine (for smoothing each slat)

• Wood Glue or Construction Adhesive

• Saw (for cutting slats to the desired height)

• Brad Nails & Nail Gun (for extra hold)

• Laser leveler (for precision)

• Sandpaper (for finishing touches)

• Wood Stain or Sealer (optional, for protection & color)
